A proptech startup, Gate Africa, has unveiled an app for estate management across the country to enhance security, and improve the overall experience for both residents and estate managers.
This was disclosed this at the tech expo event that held in Ibadan on Thursday.
Speaking during the unveiling, the CEO and founder of Gate Africa, Tunde Buremo, explained that the platform’s capabilities go beyond access control.
“Gate Africa is designed to address a wide range of estate management needs. We’ve created a fully integrated system that simplifies daily tasks for both estate administrators and residents. It’s not just about security – it’s about making life easier for everyone involved.”
“The platform complies with the Nigerian Data Protection Regulation (NDPR) Act of 2013, ensuring that residents’ and estate managers’ data is handled with the highest standards of privacy.
“Through the platform, residents can participate in community forums for updates and discussions, buy and sell items within the estate’s marketplace, hire vetted technicians, and even report issues or trigger alarms during emergencies,” he added.
The tech guru also maintained that his firm automated payment tracking and service management, helping to reduce inefficiencies and improve transparency.
In his remark, an estate manager in Lagos, Sola Adebayo, said, “The automation of payments, service charges, and communication between residents has transformed our operations.
“Since implementing Gate Africa’s software, our workload has drastically reduced. It’s a game-changer for estate managers.”
Meanwhile, a member of the security committee of estates in south west region, Niran Adepoju, stressed that the idea was a novel one while commending the myriad of problems it will solve.
With its innovative approach, Gate Africa is positioning itself as a leader in estate management technology. By leveraging digital solutions, the platform aims to address the growing demands of modern gated communities in Nigeria. For residents and managers alike, Gate Africa’s technology-driven approach offers a glimpse into the future of estate management in an increasingly urbanized country.
