I don’t have a power cord for this Sanyo Tape Recorder MR-212… BUT, when I put 6 ‘C’ batteries in it, it did move. –The cover for the battery compartment is missing, but they stayed in nicely–The play selector (joystick?) moved and locked in to PLAY and FWD. It would not lock in to REW. I didn’t see anything moving when I put it in play, but FWD spun the empty reel. Without being able to test it fully with a reel, I’m going to claim this as ‘Parts Only’ and sell it as-is. It does come with the original SANYO DYNAMIC MICROPHONE. I didn’t see anything broken, damaged, or chipped.
