VINTAGE RARE GUCCI SHOULDER BAG IN BLACK AND IVORY WOVEN LEATHER This is quite the bag! You don’t see many with this showy two tone woven style…truly lovely! It measures 10 1/2″ x 9″ x 2 1/4″ with a 42″ non-adjustable 1/4″ double rolled and stitched leather strap. When I got this purse it was missing the turning half of the clasp. The inside had velcro stitched on both sides to hold it together. Even with this imperfection, I knew it could be saved! I took the purse to Nordstrom in Seattle and with the help of the Gucci salesperson it was sent to Gucci in New York for restoration. They cleaned off the velcro (still some staining and stitch holes left on the inside) and installed an authentic Gucci clasp, correct ot the era and the bag. I have included the note the staff at Gucci NY sent me after completion. It also came back in the Gucci cloth bag. Looking at the purse from the outside, you would never know it had been repaired. Inside leather lining is in very fine condition, both zippered pocket and flap pocket very good.
