Scalextric Lotus 72E as driven by Ronnie Peterson in the French Grand Prix, 1973, finished 1st. Black and gold colors of the Lotus 1973 Formula 1/Grand Prix racing team, John Player Special (JPS). 1/32 scale slot car. Has run some laps on my home slot car track but has not been raced against other slot cars. In very good condition, see photos. This is a detailed model of the number 2 car that Ronnie Peterson drove to the win at the 1973 French Grand Prix. The John Player Special Lotus team went on to win the 1973 Constructors title and Peterson finished third in the Driver’s Championship; J. Stewart was 1st, E. Fittipaldi was second.
