no4 mk11 stock EXCELLENT CONDITIONED * ENFIELD # 4 MK 11 WOOD SET SET. THE STOCKS WERE IN LONG TERM ARSENAL STORAGE The stock WILL BE DUSTY AND SOMEWHAT DIRTY. I have been told that this type is for the Mark 2 rifle. Please check your present wood to make sure it is the same type. The parts appear to be new and stored for a long time. The fittings are just a little oversized to allow the fittings to be adjusted to your rifle. NOTE – THIS IS THE WOOD STOCK SET FOR THE ANTIQUE BOLT ACTION RIFLE – IT DOES NOT VIOLATE E BAY POLICIES! These stocks sets appear to be in near new condition – only dirty and dusty. I believe these stock sets were for wood replacement on damaged or well used Enfields. The stocks may have small difficult to see wood patches which was very common on arsenal replacement stocks. Some of the stocks also appear to be wood removed from new unissued rifles – since the have FR arsenal acceptance still on the stocks. The wood appears to be walnut, but I am no wood expert, but some of the buyers said it was. This is for the wood set only – not the metal parts, but the metal parts are much easier to find and cheaper. This is a chance for You to take that old wood cutdown rifle and restore it to a much more valuable collectors’ rifle. Enfield rifles have increased dramatically in recent years and well worth the effort to restore them. The wood will have minor storage dings – but nothing a well maintained collectors gun wouldn’t have accumulated over the years.
