Most other treatments only kill adults and require you to re-treat after the nits hatch. This item is 9.0 ml of Elector PSP in One single-use bottle. The 9 ml concentrate must be diluted in one gallon of water, which is enough to treat at least 50 chickens. Poultry veterinarians recommend Elector PSP as the most effective, safe and easy solution for eliminating mites and lice from your flock WITHOUT HATCHING! Elector is safe for you and your backyard chickens. Due to its multiple mechanisms of action, mites and lice do not develop resistance to it. Elector PSP, a spinosyn class insecticide, acts as both a larvicide and an adulticide, killing adult flies and their nits after ONE application when used correctly.
